Mental Health Service Provider Database Listing

State mental health reform is bringing about big changes in the way consumers will receive services in the Cape Fear Area. Many consumers and families in our area will now be searching for private providers to help meet their mental health needs. The Mental Health Association in NC, Cape Fear Chapter has created CapeFearHealthyMinds.org as a service to link consumers to private providers, local resources and mental health information. In addition to the online service, we also offer a call-in service, during regular business hours, for those who may not have access to the internet.

We welcome your participation in the online Mental Health Service Provider Database and our call-in service. To help support this important community service, we request an annual registration fee of $25 for each private provider who wishes to be listed. Funds raised through the provider database will be used to help cover the cost of this community service.

Along with your completed Mental Health Professional Information Sheet (PDF) and $25 registration fee, please include copies of your certifications for verification. Once accepted, you will be listed in our online searchable provider database as well as being part of the call-in service. If, for any reason, your application is not accepted, your $25 registration fee will be refunded to you.

We would also like to know if you facilitate or know of any mental health support groups in our area. Please include the following information in the "Additional Information" section of the Mental Health Professional Information Sheet (PDF) -- type of group, day, time, place, and contact name and phone number.
